About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time CULINARY AMBASSADOR positions. Location: MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast - 120 Gateway Corporate Boulevard, Columbia, South Carolina 29203. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time; Days may vary, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. One half day per week. 40 hours per week. More details upon interview. Requirements: Three years of prior patient dining associate experience is preferred. Willing to train! Fixed Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour. Requirements

Ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manages food allergens.
Modifies menus according to diet prescriptions.
Provides basic diet information throughout a patient’s stay.
Acts according to Joint Commissions/CMS standards and regulations for infection prevention control.
Communicates with patients, their visitors and the hospital’s care team.
Resolves patient dining concerns or complaints immediately.
Reports a patient’s need for assistance to a supervisor or the care team, as appropriate.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
