About The Position

Dining Room Waitstaff Episcopal Homes of Minnesota – St. Paul, MN (Midway) Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served seniors for over 130 years in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood. Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Home Care services. Residents enjoy access to amenities including a fitness center, warm-water pool, theater, pub, and restaurant-style dining. We are currently hiring Dining Room Waitstaff to join our culinary team and provide exceptional service to residents and guests. Wage: $19.09/hr. Schedules Available (IPC – Assisted Living): • Monday, Wednesday + Every Other Weekend | 3:30pm – 6:30pm• Will cross-train at ECH (Skilled Nursing) for Room Service shifts: 3:00pm – 7:00pm based on scheduling needs

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Dependable and flexible with scheduling, including every other weekend
• Ability to follow directions and maintain food safety standards
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working with kitchen equipment and varying temperatures

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive service to residents and guests
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
• Assist with meal service setup and breakdown
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and proper temperature standards
• Maintain a clean, sanitary dining and kitchen environment
• Prepare items such as fruit, desserts, and salad bar components
• Follow proper food storage procedures, including labeling and dating
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
• Support a welcoming, resident-centered dining experience
