About The Position

Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support for the Culinary department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with staffing and scheduling team members in accordance with our CBA staffing guidelines. Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees book off on short notice. Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with other departments, team members, and leadership. Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports. Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required, and help enforce our safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely. Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste. Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
  • Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
  • Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
  • Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
  • Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents
