About The Position

LMI is seeking a technical manager with strong Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) expertise to lead planning and execution of test and evaluation projects for our DHS client. This is an on-site position in the New York City area and requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance or higher. You must be a U.S. citizen. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Part 107 license is desired
  • Interdisciplinary engineering skillsets with knowledge of C-UAS technologies
  • Strong understanding of ArcGIS software and geospatial analysis
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be a self-starter, solution seeker
  • A true team player who promotes cross-functional collaboration and maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance or higher. You must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and engineering support to Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Test and Evaluation (T&E) programs and projects
  • Provide hands-on set-up and operations of C-UAS technology systems for demonstration including set-up and tear-down, logistical support and system operations support
  • Work hands-on with customers to build C-UAS systems in the laboratory and support product integrations in customer/partner environments
  • Lead gathering and validating customer requirements
  • Support the development of C-UAS test plans and evaluation methodologies
  • Assist in the execution of C-UAS tests, field assessments, and other test events
  • Collect and analyze test data
  • Draft system specifications, policy documentation, and reports
  • Develop project management documentation, including charters, project management plans, and status reports
