The company was founded by Ilhan Zengin, Mario Tiedemann, and Dennis Kirschner in 2016 with headquarters in Berlin and employs almost 400 people worldwide in 25 strategic markets throughout Europe, the Nordics, LATAM, the US, and Asia. ShowHeroes are now looking to expand our engineering efforts on our MAX online video & monetization product with a new dedicated team focused on Connected TV.

Requirements

• Six or more years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience in taking leadership in technical roles, products, or decisions.
• Prior experience or knowledge of advertising technology, systems, or domain.
• High proficiency in Python, or multi-lingual and quick to learn.
• Experience in high volume, high throughput, or otherwise with large and distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts, working closely with the product manager to understand, scope, and implement improvements along with the team.
• Be the expert in all things technical and Connected TV, working hard to understand the domain and nuances of the ecosystem.
• Improve the core product stack to better support CTV-specific use cases, ensuring reliability and high throughput is engineered throughout.
• Mentor and educate the team, and help spread knowledge across other teams to work towards our global, cross-product CTV goals.
