About The Position

The Community Education and Engagement Specialist at the Children's Aid Society is responsible for expanding and implementing operations related to community engagement and stakeholder partnerships. This role focuses on raising awareness and providing education to combat child trafficking through workshops, outreach programs, and collaborations with local organizations. The specialist will advocate for community-based initiatives and solutions while building strong relationships within the community.

Requirements

• Master's degree in education, communications, or social work preferred.
• Experience in educating or training in human trafficking prevention or intervention services.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid Alabama driver's license and auto insurance minimum liability 100/300.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience as a trainer in child trafficking prevention.
• Cultural competency and understanding of diverse perspectives.
• Demonstrated experience in community engagement and mobilization.
• Project management skills to plan and execute programs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of community resources related to human trafficking and child exploitation.
• Understanding of public policy, regulations, and legislation pertaining to child well-being.

Responsibilities
