About The Position

The CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) & Supply Chain Compliance Leader will be responsible for further developing, implementing, and maintaining Hisense's CTPAT compliance program for Hisense USA (HUSA) and Hisense Electronics Manufacturing Co (HEMCA), while overseeing and supporting the CTPAT compliance operations of Hisense Mexico Electronics Co and Hisense Monterrey Home Appliances. This role ensures adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) minimum security criteria guidelines while fostering a culture of supply chain security across the organization. The CTPAT Program Leader will report to the Director, Import Trade Compliance and serve as the primary liaison with CBP, internal stakeholders, functional leaders, and external partners to ensure the company meets and exceeds all CTPAT & Supply Chain Compliance requirements and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years' experience in supply chain security, trade compliance, or logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of CTPAT requirements and U.S. Customs regulations.
  • Previous experience working with U.S. Customs and US/MX border operations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (MX) as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the further development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's CTPAT program.
  • Maintain, update, and oversee the company's CTPAT portal.
  • Perform an annual Risk Assessment and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely submission of the annual CTPAT Security Profile.
  • Directly lead all validations/revalidations of HUSA and/or HEMCA, while directly supporting all validations/revalidations of Hisense affiliates.
  • Review and update all company CTPAT processes, policies, procedures, contracts, and trainings at least annually.
  • Monitor CTPAT partners via the CTPAT portal, escalate any changes in partner CTPAT status, and work with functional leaders to mitigate business partner risk.
  • Document and investigate all supply chain security breaches, address all corrective action findings, and report supply chain breach details and findings to CBP.
  • Engage with foreign suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and other supply chain partners to ensure CTPAT compliance throughout the global supply chain via Survey Assessments, Contract Agreements, on-site Audits, and other due diligences.
  • Maintain accurate records of all CTPAT-related activities, including validations, training, and audits.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on program status, risks, and improvements.
  • Develop and deliver CTPAT trainings for employees, suppliers, and partners.
  • Support the Director, Import Trade Compliance in supply chain and import trade compliance improvement initiatives, optimizations, assessments, and other regulatory standards.
