About The Position
About the Role We are partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed technology company entering its next phase of scale. The organization has achieved strong product-market fit and is now focused on building durable systems, teams, and architecture to support long-term growth. The Chief Technology Officer will serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, responsible for technical strategy, execution, and leadership across engineering and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a senior technology leader who has scaled teams, made long-term architectural decisions, and partnered closely with founders and product leadership.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior technical leader
- Strong background in modern software architecture and scalable systems
- Proven ability to lead senior engineers and engineering managers
- Experience partnering with product and business leadership
- Clear communicator who can translate technical decisions into business outcomes
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Responsibilities
- Define and own the company's long-term technical vision and architecture
- Lead and scale engineering teams across multiple disciplines
- Partner closely with the CEO and Product leadership on roadmap and execution
- Ensure reliability, security, and scalability across systems and platforms
- Build strong engineering culture, hiring standards, and leadership development
- Guide build vs. buy decisions and technical prioritization
- Represent technical strategy with investors and board members as needed
