About The Position
THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT TITLE: Marketing Teacher – Methuen High School DATE OF OPENING: 2026-2027 School Year SALARY: $60,253 - $113,226 QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed in Massachusetts as a Vocational Teacher~~Marketing. Licensed in Massachusetts as a Business Teacher. Master's degree preferred Training and experience in Business/Marketing background. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To develop in each student, the necessary knowledge and skills relating to marketing strategies in business and the basic parts of a business. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in connecting entrepreneurship to the curriculum and ensuring that students are introduced to basic career-readiness skills. Applicants will also be responsible for the organization of course work using the VTE Frameworks as directed by the DESE CVTE department for Marketing. Based on training and experience according to the current salary schedule as negotiated by Unit A of the Methuen Education Association OUR MISSION: Methuen Public Schools enrolls approximately 7000 in a total of five schools. Methuen Public Schools has four PK-8 schools: the Comprehensive Grammar School, the Marsh Grammar School, the Tenney Grammar School, the Timony Grammar School, and one comprehensive high school: Methuen High School. Requirements
- Licensed in Massachusetts as a Vocational Teacher~~Marketing.
- Licensed in Massachusetts as a Business Teacher.
