About The Position

The Southern Indiana Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Receptionist for its Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). The position requires working Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. This role involves various administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing information about the clinic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Previous office/administrative experience required; prefer experience in a healthcare setting
• Experienced in answering telephones, billing, typing or computer word processing, office machine operation, and filing
• Must be comfortable with working in an addiction recovery environment

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
• Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain calendars
• Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors
• Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
• Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals or cancellations
• Enter customer data and send correspondence
• Copy, file, and maintain paper or electronic documents
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Perform other duties as assigned
