The position is for a CT XR Technologist at UCHealth Broomfield Hospital, located in Broomfield, Colorado. This is a full-time role with a commitment of 72 hours per pay period, primarily during night shifts. The pay range for this position is between $36.19 and $54.28 per hour, depending on the applicant's relevant experience. The role involves providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, valuing a multidisciplinary team approach, and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. The technologist will review patient history, initiate imaging based on physician orders, and ensure patient education and cooperation.

  • Reviews patient history and initiates Computed Tomography or Diagnostic images based on physician order.
  • Prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
  • Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
  • Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
  • Implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (ARRT).
  • May perform 3-D post processing while entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • 2 Years of experience preferred.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date.
