About The Position

The position is for a CT X-Ray Technologist at HCA HealthONE Swedish. The role involves ensuring high-quality, efficient care for patients ranging from newborns to late adulthood. The technologist will be responsible for performing all CT and X-Ray procedures, including basic x-rays, fluoroscopy, C-Arms & OR Procedures, and Portables. The position requires solid to expert knowledge of all diagnostic procedures and the ability to communicate and work independently. The technologist must prioritize and promote quality patient care, maintain documentation consistent with Joint Commission regulations, and demonstrate independent critical thinking skills. The role may require cross-training to one or more modalities as needed.

Requirements

• Solid to expert knowledge of all diagnostic procedures including x-rays and Portables.
• Registered technologist with current certification in Radiography (R) and CT by ARRT.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT and X-Ray procedures on patients of all ages.
• Maintain solid to expert knowledge of all diagnostic procedures including x-rays and Portables.
