About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards. The technologist will provide efficient imaging services, educate patients, and maintain excellent standards of care. This permanent full-time night shift role requires experience in at least two imaging modalities , strong adherence to radiation safety protocols , and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diagnostic imaging team.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred.
  • Candidates must hold two registries (or obtain within one year of hire) from the following: ARRT Radiography (R) ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) ARRT Mammography (M) ARRT Sonography (S) ARRT Nuclear Medicine (N) ARDMS (RDMS, RVT, RDCS, RMSKS) NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • BLS Certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Active State License required
  • Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year required
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Ability to operate radiologic and CT imaging equipment safely
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS electronic record systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT)

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic and CT imaging procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and competency in two or more imaging modalities .
  • Follow radiation safety practices and maintain ALARA standards .
  • Screen female patients for pregnancy prior to radiation exposure and implement appropriate protections.
  • Conduct quality control checks according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Operate imaging equipment following established manufacturer recommendations.
  • Perform imaging exams according to department protocols or radiologist direction .
  • Obtain relevant patient history prior to imaging procedures.
  • Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and ensure informed consent when required.
  • Verify patient identity using two patient identifiers prior to procedures.
  • Notify radiologists of STAT or emergent cases and provide ordering physician contact details.
  • Ensure all documentation and prior imaging studies are available for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and submit required documentation to health information systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service support when necessary.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, patient transport, and workflow support when needed.
  • Train or cross-train imaging staff when directed.
  • Maintain department inventory including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, and schedule adjustments as required.
  • Rotate into other imaging modalities within scope of licensure when necessary.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with infection control and safety protocols .
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain professional communication with patients, staff, and vendors.
  • Follow organizational policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and productivity.
  • Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
