About The Position

The Multi-Modality Technologist is credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities. Strives to provide patient-centered care. Upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
• Ability to communicate exams/procedures to patients.
• Knowledge of computer software and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with imaging equipment and patient care equipment.
• Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
• 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
