About The Position

Kadlec is offering a $20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment for a full-time position. Under the direct supervision of the FSED Leadership, the CT/X-Ray technologist is responsible for operating and providing high quality computerized tomography and X-ray to patients in a safe manner for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Technologists will also be trained on various patient care activities such as performing vital signs, EKGs, wound care, orthopedic splinting and other duties as assigned. Diagnostic Imaging Supervisors will act on behalf of the FSED Nurse Manager to provide oversight of clinical skills, QAs, competencies, etc. Must present self in a professional manner, work well with a multidisciplinary team, have good communication skills, and adhere to KRMC's policies and Vision Statement. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography certification or National Computed Tomography Technologist certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Medical Assistant - Registered certification within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging.
  • 1 year experience as a registered technologist performing CT Scan and X-Ray.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and provide high quality computerized tomography and X-ray to patients.
  • Ensure patient safety during diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform various patient care activities such as vital signs, EKGs, and wound care.
  • Assist in orthopedic splinting and other assigned duties.
  • Work under the supervision of Diagnostic Imaging Supervisors to maintain clinical skills and competencies.
