About The Position

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging quality standards, and comply with all regulatory and radiation safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
• ARRT Certification (Radiography & CT) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Injection certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and procedures
• Experience with equipment calibration, quality assurance, and documentation
• Understanding of radiation safety standards and best practices
• Ability to assess and respond to patient needs effectively
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment.
• Administer contrast injections as prescribed, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and equipment records.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards in compliance with ALARA principles .
• Perform quality assurance and safety testing of imaging equipment.
• Manage and prepare imaging data for radiologist interpretation.
• Order, receive, and verify radiopharmaceutical doses as required.
