About The Position

CT Technologist - Sign on Bonus Location; Javon Bea Hosptial, Rockford IL Pay Range: $33.78-$50.67 Sign On Bonus Eligible for Full Time Positions! $5,000 - 1 Year Commitment $10,000 - 3 Year Commitment Shifts: Nights Hours per week: 32 Shift differential for qualifying shifts (PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour / Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00/hour) We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan with a competitive matching contribution and paid time off. Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist. Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiography program
ARRT Radiography registration required
ARRT Computed Tomography registration preferred (or must be obtained within two years of hire)
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic CT procedures.
Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist.
Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
