Perform CT exams, biopsies, 3D renderings, and special procedures under the radiologist's direction. Operate CT and radiographic equipment, including injectors and scanners Administer IV and oral contrast (with proper certification) Screen patients, assess lab values, and review clinical history. Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation Monitor PACS, verify studies, and complete necessary documentation Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards Rotate shifts, including on-call and holiday assignments as needed

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • NYS Radiologic Technologist license with injection certification
  • ARRT certification (CT preferred or obtained within 1 year)
  • 2+ years of CT experience preferred
  • BLS (CPR) certification required
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive tasks such as data entry
  • Remain mobile and stationary as needed for long periods.

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT certification (CT preferred or obtained within 1 year)
  • 2+ years of CT experience preferred
