About The Position

Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) Join the team at Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) - a collaboration that unites the academic excellence of ColumbiaDoctors with the world-class clinical resources of NewYork-Presbyterian. CNYPAI delivers advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT, supported by cutting-edge technology and some of the most respected experts in the field. Our mission is to detect and treat conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed, elevate research that advances population health, and ensure every patient receives care of the highest quality and compassion. CT Technologist – Full-Time (Mondays, Tuesdays, & Saturdays, 7:00am–8:00pm) - Columbia (CNYPAI) As a CT Technologist, you will play a key role in preparing for and performing ionizing radiation procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, and research purposes. You’ll utilize independent judgment, technical skill, and initiative to capture high‑quality images essential for patient diagnosis and innovative research. You will: Perform a wide variety of CT procedures with accuracy, safety, and patient-centered care Adhere to departmental standards and protocols Support the department’s commitment to delivering exceptional, humane, high‑quality healthcare Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, & Saturdays, 7:00am–8:00pm During training, hires will be expected to work Monday-Friday, five days per week, on 8‑hour shifts that rotate between 7:00am and 6:00pm. Union Role: Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • New York State Radiology license
  • New York State certification to inject contrast media
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography; meets ongoing ARRT continuing education requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Previous relevant experience in research
  • Prior experience with GE equipment
