Central Kansas Cancer Center (CKCC) is a free-standing Radiation Oncology Center located in Manhattan, KS. The state-of-the-art facility, which has been in operation since 1999 provides convenient access for surrounding communities and is in close proximity to other medical specialties in the area. Requirements

  • Minimum Education Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Required Registration/License/Certification American Registry of Radiology (ARRT) license
  • CT Certification or CT experience
  • Kansas License for Radiology Technology (LRT)
  • CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] obtained within first 90 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum Experience One-year hospital experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography duties in compliance with facility and legal requirements.
  • Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients, service representatives, and all other personnel.
  • Prepares patient for CT procedures by positioning patient, screening for IV contrast, and adjusting necessary equipment and exposure factors to obtain quality images.
  • Documents patient care services by charting patient and department records.
  • Willingness to assist with other duties when asked.
