About The Position

Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Wodbridge, Virginia This is a Full-Time, Weekend Night shift opportunity Position Schedule : Friday: 7pm to 8am, Saturday: 7pm to 8am, and Sunday: 7pm to 6:30am Sign-on bonus up to 30K available for qualified candidates As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Requirements

  • Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT or CNMT is required.
  • Basic Life Support
  • Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).

Responsibilities

  • Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician

  • Complete department documentation
  • Maintain all equipment to be clean and operational
