Employee will be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology as well as a Registered Technologist (RT) with minimum one year experience in diagnostic radiology. Employee will also hold a current certification in in CPR (Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation). As a CT Technologist, you will operate the CT Imaging equipment to produce images of designated portion of the human body for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

  • Review Physician orders and obtain pertinent medical information to identify reason for the exam
  • Thoroughly explain the procedure to the patient
  • Be able to select appropriate position for each patient
  • Organize images, perform the scan, and transfer images to PACS system
  • Report all potential issues with equipment to Chief Technologist
  • Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Provide clear information and education to patient
  • Anticipates and responds promptly to needs and request of patients and/or staff

  • Create and maintain a calm environment
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology
  • Current CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) certification
