About The Position

The CT Technologist position at MultiCare offers an opportunity to join a team within the Imaging/Radiology department, specifically at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital. This role involves performing CT procedures that demand independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, with a focus on delivering comprehensive and high-quality imaging care to patients, particularly within an emergency room setting. MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital is a 367-bed regional medical center located in Tacoma, WA, featuring a 24-hour Emergency Department, a Level II Adult Trauma Center, and advanced services in cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and robotic surgery. It also houses the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center, a Family Birth Center, and specialized neonatal care in collaboration with Mary Bridge Children’s. MultiCare is a large not-for-profit healthcare organization with over 28,000 team members, operating across Washington and Northern Idaho for more than 140 years. The role is a 0.9 FTE position with day shifts, typically 12 hours.

Requirements

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT), or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current BLS Certification

Responsibilities

  • You will perform all diagnostic radiology and CT tasks
  • You will perform duties ranging from rooming patients, performing medical assistant/emergency department tech tasks, and assisting the provider with medical procedures, as necessary
  • Collaborate with the team to accomplish strategic goals and day-to-day functions
  • You will engage your highly collaborative approach to services in an emergency room environment
