About The Position

The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position uses ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgement to perform high quality scans. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. Requirements

  • Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in operating CT equipment with a strong understanding of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of protocols relating to contrast administration, including contrast injector operation as applicable.
  • Demonstrates understanding and proficiency with electronic imaging including ability to view, transfer and manipulate images.
  • Recognizes emergent patient situations and can respond appropriately.
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other caregivers and patients.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, Required
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
  • Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required
  • IV Competency within 90 Days, Required

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years CT Experience (Preferred)
  • 1-2 years Experience in a healthcare setting. (Preferred)
  • Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred
  • For caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred
