Now Hiring: CT Technologist Location: Southwest, FL with varies locations Type: PRN Schedule: Monday – Friday with flexible hours Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent hospital-based program.
- Current ARRT and State of Florida certification to practice medical radiography.
- Complete the required hours of continuing education per certification or annual period to satisfy State of Florida and federal requirements.
- Complete required hours of continuing education per certification or annual period as required by ACR, IAC, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
- CT certification by ARRT
- CT Technologist must always maintain a current CPR certification.
- CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 3 years or more of radiography experience is preferred in an outpatient setting
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating CT scanning equipment and assisting physicians/radiologists.
- Provide appropriate and safe patient care.
- Consistently apply working knowledge pertaining to CT anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist.
