About The Position
As a CT Technologist , you will perform critical imaging procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology. You will operate advanced CT equipment and manage the processing and organization of images within the PACS system for physician review.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; acute care experience required for any Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) opportunities
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT Registered Radiographer
- Registered CT Technologist (CT)
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans including head, body, musculoskeletal (MSK), spine, and chest imaging
- Apply advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging concepts
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT scanners and related equipment to ensure patient safety and image quality
- Process, organize, and archive imaging studies in PACS for accurate diagnostic interpretation
