The CT Technologist coordinates and produces quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assists in CT guided procedures. The technologist must demonstrate and exercise critical thinking skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, venipuncture, and safe medication administration, specific to contrast media and adjunct medications. The technologist is responsible for the safe operation of sophisticated imaging and ancillary equipment to produce quality CT procedures. The CT Technologist ensures accurate documentation and image transmission and storage, professional and effective communication, and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients. Responsible for accurate charge capture and documentation. Full-Time Position: 32 hours per week, 4 days per week Flexible Shift Requirements: Must be able to work varying shifts, including day, evening, and night Diverse Patient Population: Provides care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
