About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casual CT Technologist to join our team. This role requires a minimum of eight hours per pay period, one weekend per month, and at least one holiday per year. No on-call duties are required. Qualifications: Candidates at all levels of the imaging career ladder, including Diagnostic Technologists and CT Technologists, are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be placed on the appropriate step of the career ladder based on their experience and licensure. Responsibilities: Perform advanced imaging procedures independently, utilizing prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Competently execute a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Assist Clinical Specialists in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives. Train staff and student technologists. Monitor quality control activities and demonstrate advanced knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care according to the latest protocols and procedures. Demonstrate competency with specialty equipment (e.g., 3D recon, cardiac scanning) and promptly analyze data. Participate in standardization activities with system-level workgroups. Function independently, covering off shifts and performing services at satellite facilities as needed, while maintaining communication with the lead and management team. Perform all job responsibilities of a CT Tech I. Collaborate directly with Radiologists on protocol development. Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program. 2 years CT experience required. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.

Requirements

  • ARRT certified as a CT Technologist.
  • CPR or BLS is required.
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
  • ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
