About The Position

Provides patient care and technical skills in the operation of a computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radio-graphs of patient’s body for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • One (1) year CT experience or graduate of CT training program with minimum of 500 clinical hours of CT training
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license thru the State of Indiana
  • Registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current Healthcare BLS certification

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) or more years work experience as a CT Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Preparing patient for CT procedure by accurately assessing patient’s needs and providing patient education
  • Operating computed tomography scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images
  • Evaluating Radiographs, video tape, and computer generated information for technical quality.
