About The Position
A healthcare system in Brunswick, Georgia is seeking CT Technologists to join a busy Emergency Department imaging team. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment, supportive leadership, and a collaborative clinical team in a fast-paced environment. The department utilizes two new CT scanners and GE imaging equipment, providing technologists with advanced tools to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. Available Schedules Full-Time Positions Saturday - Monday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Friday - Sunday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM These weekend-focused schedules provide consistent shifts with weekdays off, offering a strong work-life balance. The CT Technologist performs high-quality CT imaging procedures while supporting emergency department physicians and radiologists in diagnosing and treating patients. This role ensures patient safety, maintains imaging quality standards, and follows all radiation safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- ARRT (R) required
- CT registry required within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Operate CT scanners, contrast injectors, and associated imaging equipment
- Obtain accurate patient histories and verify imaging orders
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and address questions or concerns
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure imaging accuracy
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain imaging quality and proper documentation for procedures
- Coordinate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient workflow
