Position Details Role: CT Technologist Status: Per Diem/Relief (0.00 FTE) Schedule: Variable; weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) strongly preferred Pay Range: $45.14 - $67.70 per hour (based on experience, education, and other factors) Differentials: 15% in lieu of benefits Evening: $3.00/hr Night: $5.00/hr Weekend: $1.00/hr Please note: Per diem positions do not guarantee hours.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred
- Venipuncturepetency required
- PACS/RIS knowledge required; EPIC RIS and FUJI experience preferred
- Credentials: ARRT - Radiography
- Oregon Radiology Technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT-CT credential required within 1 year of hire.
- Skills: Strongmunication, organizational ability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires OBMI CT licensure (temporary acceptable at hire; permanent within 1 year).
- Advanced ARRT (CT) credential via Nuclear Medicine pathway is acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized CT procedures with accuracy and care.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
- Integrate patient history, prior imaging, and lab results for optimal exams.
- Educate patients before and after procedures.
- Operate CT scanners and ensure image quality.
- radiation safety principles and evaluate pregnancy status as needed.
- Assist with interventional procedures and provide training to staff/students.
- Adapt to patient needs and resolve issues promptly.
