About The Position
The CT Technologist, working with limited supervision, is responsible for executing computed tomography and radiographic images. This role involves gathering patient histories and preparing all necessary information to complete the patient’s record. Additionally, the technologist is tasked with notifying appropriate personnel for equipment services and preventive maintenance, as well as managing the ordering and stocking of supplies.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited education program in Imaging Sciences
- Active KBMIRT required at time of hire
- ARRT registered in Radiography
- Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment

Responsibilities
- Produces quality images for Radiologist’s review.
- Prepares accurate records and verifies orders in chart.
- Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information and archiving.
- Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy.
