About The Position

Centered in the heart of San Joaquin County, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1952. We are comprised of a 190-bed hospital, 17 medical offices, home care services, comprehensive cancer care and a vast scope of award-winning services located throughout Lodi and the surrounding areas. The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. This role also performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Requirements

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification
  • Fluoroscopy (FLUORO)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Preferred in CA
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
  • Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
  • Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
