About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 9-week contract assignment in New York, NY. This night shift opportunity is ideal for a skilled technologist with recent CT experience who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced radiology environment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent CT experience .

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Active New York State License – Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
ARRT Certification in Radiography (R)
Current ARRT CT Certification (CT)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
Ability to work independently on night shift

Nice To Haves

Experience in high-volume hospital radiology departments
Strong patient care and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures in accordance with established protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce optimal diagnostic CT images
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment prior to patient studies
Administer contrast per physician orders and established protocols
Follow radiation safety guidelines in compliance with ALARA principles
Perform quality control, quality assurance, and safety testing procedures
Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and charge entries in accordance with regulatory requirements
Identify and report equipment issues promptly
Prepare, maintain, and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation
Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after imaging procedures
