The CT Technologist is responsible for performing complex specialized tasks related to the operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and associated equipment, ensuring adherence to radiation safety procedures. This role involves positioning patients, performing exams according to protocols, assisting radiologists with procedures, and evaluating scan quality. The technologist is also expected to demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and contrast administration, advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures (X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, OR work), and troubleshoot equipment. Additional duties include maintaining patient records, managing supply inventory, assisting with clerical tasks, and potentially cross-training other staff. The position requires flexibility, including adjusting schedules and taking calls, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed, and a commitment to organizational values and professional conduct.
