About The Position

The CT Technologist is an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with MultiCare's skilled Imaging/Radiology team. In this role, you will perform CT procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and high-quality imaging care for MultiCare patients. This position is a 0.9 FTE, working day shifts on a 12-hour schedule. The role is based at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, a 367-bed regional medical center in Tacoma, WA, which is a Level II Adult Trauma Center and offers advanced cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and robotic surgery. The hospital also houses the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center, a Family Birth Center, and specialized neonatal care in partnership with Mary Bridge Children’s.

Requirements

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology)
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT), or obtained within 6 months of hire
Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health as a Radiologic Technologist
Current BLS Certification

Responsibilities

Perform all diagnostic radiology and CT tasks
Perform duties ranging from rooming patients, performing medical assistant/emergency department tech tasks, and assisting the provider with medical procedures, as necessary
Collaborate with the team to accomplish strategic goals and day-to-day functions
Engage your highly collaborative approach to services in an emergency room environment
