About The Position

As a CT Technologist at Saint Joseph London, you will use your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, helping Radiologists accurately diagnose or rule out various medical conditions. Your daily tasks will involve creating detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Compassionate interaction and skilled patient care are crucial for fostering a positive and comforting patient experience during the imaging process. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of diagnostic imaging, including general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire
• Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 12 - months
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in CT not essential for all positions

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
• Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
• Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
• Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
