About The Position

Join Our Radiology Team as a CT Technologist Shift Options: 1. Full-time Weekend Package: Fridays 10am-630pm, Saturdays & Sundays 8am-8pm 2. Full-time Monday-Thursday 9pm-7am CT and X-ray, with a rotating holiday schedule Make a meaningful impact by delivering exceptional imaging care and supporting patient safety. As a CT Technologist, you'll serve as a vital link between the Radiology Department, hospital staff, physicians, and students. In this role, you will: Educate and protect patients entering the CT scanning room Assist with patient sedation and monitoring Support the training of Student Radiologic Technologists Contribute to quality assurance processes Your expertise ensures accurate imaging and a safe, comfortable experience for every patient. Requirements

  • Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT CT Board Certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • CT experience strongly preferred.
  • Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
  • CPR certified.
  • Maintain yearly CEU requirements.
  • Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.

Nice To Haves

  • CT experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.
  • Educates and protects all customers entering the CT scanning room.
  • Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients.
  • Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
  • Assists with quality assurance processes.
