About The Position

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures during overnight hours. This role supports emergency and inpatient diagnostic services, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and adherence to established protocols in a hospital-based environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (CT certification preferred or required per facility policy)
• Active and unrestricted state license (as applicable)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT experience preferred
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and radiation protection at all times
• Accurately operate CT imaging equipment and associated computer systems
• Administer contrast media in accordance with policy and certification requirements
• Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the imaging system
• Respond effectively to urgent and emergent imaging needs during overnight shifts
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
