About The Position

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing precise diagnostic images to assist Radiologists in diagnosing and ruling out various medical conditions. This role involves creating detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs daily. A crucial aspect of the position is compassionate patient interaction, ensuring a positive and comforting experience throughout the imaging process. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of diagnostic imaging, including general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently produce clear results for timely and accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Requirements

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire
• Medical Radiographer: TX, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 9 - months

Nice To Haves

• Associates Other, upon hire
• One (1) year of experience as a radiographer
• one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
• Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
• Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems
• Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.
• Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
• Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure
