About The Position

Fairview is seeking a CT Technologist to join their imaging team at the Fairview Ambulatory Clinic in Blaine, MN. This is a casual, as-needed position with shifts available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, with no weekend availability. The Technologist will function independently within professional practice boundaries, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients and physicians. This role involves delivering age-appropriate patient care according to established standards and collaborating with the healthcare team. The technologist is responsible for performing duties in compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements, specifically ARRT.

Requirements

Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in a related role
Additional certifications in Imaging

Responsibilities

Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Performs excellent patient care
Performs examinations
Identifies relevant data from images accurately
Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
Verify patient identification and documentation
Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
Ensures patient data integrity
