About The Position

We are urgently seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist to join a fast-paced clinical team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a highly skilled imaging professional with strong trauma and stroke experience who can step in quickly and deliver high-quality patient care in a critical setting.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent required
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program (Required)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (Required)
  • Current State/District license (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in CT imaging, with trauma and stroke experience (Required)
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from Washington, DC to qualify for travel status
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-acuity environments

Responsibilities

  • Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment safely and effectively
  • Adjust technical factors based on patient body habitus to ensure optimal imaging quality
  • Accurately position patients and follow physician orders
  • Review clinical data to produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, contrast administration, and emergency response (e.g., contrast reactions, codes)
  • Schedule and complete imaging exams and enter correct charge codes
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
