About The Position

Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced CT Technologist for our Radiology Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a CT Technologist, you will: Perform CT examinations in accordance with the protocols established by the radiologists. Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT-scanner and all ancillary equipment within CT department Assist radiologist and other staff in interventional procedures. Understand principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes symptoms of IV contrast reactions

Requirements

  • High school or GED
  • Graduate of a two-year AMA / JCERT Accredited School of Radiography
  • ARRT registered (RT)
  • State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist Licensure
  • Venous Access Competency
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to handle a multi task environment and work independently
  • PC skills such as Windows NT

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT Advanced Certification Exam in CT preferred.
  • One year CT experience preferred
