The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing computed tomography and prescribed ionizing radiation to support accurate medical diagnosis for patients of all ages. This role applies knowledge of growth and development to provide safe, age-appropriate care and operates highly specialized imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The CT Technologist is responsible for patient positioning, IV contrast administration, and maintaining professional standards of ethics, safety, and patient care. Additional responsibilities include processing patient workflows, supporting scheduling and documentation, maintaining ARRT registry requirements, and participating in the training of students and staff. This role supports a collaborative imaging environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous professional development.
