About The Position

Regions Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. This position performs CT exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for CT exams, administers contrast media, and starts intravenous catheters. The CT Tech also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns. Work Schedule: Weekdays (Monday-Friday) with variable hours, start times between 6:30-9:30 a.m., every third weekend rotation. Requirements

  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
  • Completion of ARRT advanced Computed Tomography certification OR active employment with Regions Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist Specialist agreeing: To complete the Regions-sponsored basic CT training and documentation within six months of hire. To obtain ARRT CT advanced certification within 15 months of hire.
