About The Position

Spanish Fork Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our Imaging team on the graveyard shift. This is a 7 on / 7 off, full-time opportunity—offering consistency, extended time off, and a competitive pay range—ideal for technologists who value both professional fulfillment and personal balance. As a CT Technologist, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient outcomes. You’ll work alongside radiologists, physicians, and a supportive imaging team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where your expertise and attention to detail truly matter. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Strong anatomy knowledge and image evaluation skills
  • Proficiency with CT equipment and electronic imaging systems
  • Experience with contrast protocols and emergency response
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Strong prioritization and time-management abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • ARRT (RT)(R) Radiography Certification/Registration
  • Applicable state licensure (where required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ARRT and modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions
  • Verify patient identification and orders, and prepare patients for CT exams
  • Perform CT exams according to department protocols and review images for quality and accuracy
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe clinical environment
  • Complete exams efficiently without compromising quality or patient care
  • Assist with training and mentoring students and fellow CT Technologists
  • Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address questions or concerns
  • Practice appropriate infection control and sterile techniques
  • Operate CT equipment and imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Accurately document patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions
  • Follow protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control, and equipment reporting
