Make an Impact at One of Tacoma’s Leading Medical Centers St. Joseph Medical Center, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a CT Technologist to join our exceptional Imaging team. In this vital role, you’ll deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging using state-of-the-art CT technology—including GE CT scanners —to support accurate diagnoses and compassionate patient care for the Tacoma community. In This Role, You Will:

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology (cross-sectional anatomy coursework preferred).
  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist registration required.
  • CT registration is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • CT registration is preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology (cross-sectional anatomy coursework preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of CT examinations with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and accuracy
  • Operate and maintain advanced CT equipment
  • Document patient information and exam details with precision
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Deliver empathetic, patient-centered care
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development
