About The Position
CT Technologist performs diagnostic patient examinations with computerized tomography using ionizing radiation according to established procedures. Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of CT technology. Maintains work area in an efficient organized state, following all safety and confidentiality guidelines. Maintains high professional standard of conduct and patient care, while exemplifying and promoting Augusta Health values.
Requirements
- Should have one or more years of CT specific experience
- Must be registered in radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology with documented Continuing Education to maintain registration/certification.
- Advanced CT Registry/Certification for CT Tech II
- Must have documented experience in performing venipuncture initiating IV Therapy and/or willing to complete the required training and examination in this area.
