Job Summary and Responsibilities Memorial CT Lung Screening Program Full time hours- varies due to bus location As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

Requirements

  • Required High School Graduate
  • High School Diploma, upon hire or High School GED, upon hire
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 12 - months
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the ability to operate EPIC (or applicable EHR system), computer/telephone/facsimile
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
  • Actively communicates positively and effectively to all contacts
  • Administers patient care within the scope of practice for a CT/Radiologic Technologist
  • Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test, and prepares the patient for the procedure
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task
