About The Position
At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors. Requirements
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
- ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
- Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
- Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
- 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.
